Senior Manager, Client Services
Senior Manager, Client Services

Role description:
The Senior Manager of Client Services will be responsible for managing key HDS accounts while serving as an advocate for our clients. They will be responsible for ensuring all clients receive top notch support, project management, and clear value from their partnership with HDS. As a Senior Manager, they will execute all communication between HDS, our clients, and our partners, including PBMs, to gather the necessary data, files, and documentation to onboard, maintain, and manage clients. Additionally, this role will be expected to become a subject matter expert on the HDS product suite in order to facilitate client training and creative problem solving. Ultimately, they will serve as the lead storyteller and point of contact helping deliver and demonstrate the value HDS is achieving for their pharmacy benefit plan.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Explain and interpret client results during regular client status meetings
- Schedule, organize, develop, and conduct quarterly business reviews
- Become a subject matter expert on HDS pharmacy payment integrity solutions and be able to train new users how to utilize the system to understand and interpret results
- Capture and relay customer needs to our IT, Product, and Analytics departments
- Maintain thorough knowledge of HDS software and the data required to drive analytics
- Track key metrics to provide real-time guidance to the executive management team regarding wins to celebrate, potential issues resolve, and overall account health/risks
- Interpret PBM contracts and analytical reports to recommend strategies for clients to minimize PBM errors, reduce costs, and implement best practices
- Be a brand ambassador, consistently building trust with customers through deep pharmacy benefit knowledge and professionalism and championing the client perspective
- Travel up to 5-10% as needed for client engagements, industry events, and in-person company meetings
Required skills and attributes:
- Deep knowledge of the pharmacy benefit, pharmacy distribution channels, PBM contracts, pharmacy pricing, formulary management, and current regulations
- Highly developed project management and critical thinking skills
- Comfort presenting in front of clients including developing and delivering professional presentations in PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrated success meeting deadlines on time with both speed and accuracy
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Understanding of common data analysis concepts and tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex problems
- Willingness and capability to learn new concepts and tools
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Required background:
- Degree from an accredited college
- 5-7 years of experience working for a health plan, PBM, or as a PBM consultant
- 5-7 years of direct client-facing experience
- PharmD, RPh., Nurse, or Certified Pharmacy Technician is a plus

Clinical Pharmacist/Analyst
Clinical Pharmacist/Analyst

Main purpose of job:
The Clinical Pharmacist/Analyst is responsible for the critical analysis and interpretation of customer claims data to assess the customer’s plan performance, trends, savings opportunities, and to identify fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). By combining clinical expertise, analytical capabilities, and deep understanding of PBM contracts and claims adjudication process, this role is crucial in ensuring the customer is strategically supported and optimizes the value of their pharmacy benefit. Additionally, the Clinical Pharmacist/Analyst supports the VP of Analytics and Product Development team with special projects.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Conducts extensive research and analysis of client claims data using analytical tools such as SQL, and Excel
- Develops accurate summary reports and actionable plans based on data analysis
- Supports all special projects assigned by VP of Analytics and Product Development, utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings
- Formally presents findings to customers during Quarterly Business Reviews, using statistical analysis and predictive modeling to highlight key insights
- Creates ad hoc custom queries for customers, leveraging data mining techniques to extract relevant information
- Acts as subject matter expert on contract compliance and plan performance, using analytical frameworks to interpret complex contract terms and conditions
Required skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Deep clinical pharmacy expertise, including drug classes, treatment protocols, and therapeutic equivalents
- Strong research and analysis skills, with proficiency in data analysis software
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data manipulation and analysis
- Willingness and capability to learn new concepts and tools, including advanced analytics platforms
- Highly developed critical thinking skills, with the ability to apply quantitative methods to solve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex contract terms and conditions, using analytical reasoning
- Strong results orientation, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple analytical projects
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey analytical findings to various audiences

Required background:
- PharmD or RPh from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of progressive work experience in clinically oriented analysis role
- 3+ years of experience with a health plan, managed care pharmacy, or large self-insured employer preferred
- Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including relationships, agreements, pricing, treatment protocols, and therapeutic equivalents
