Byron Mickle is a seasoned healthcare executive with nearly four decades of experience working with health insurance and pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies. Bryon’s 32 years of PBM experience have included a variety of roles with increasing accountability and leadership responsibility across sales, account management, and analytics departments.

Prior to joining HealthPlan Data Solutions, Bryon helped build the industry’s largest pass-through PBM, Navitus Health Solutions, serving as a Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer from 2007 – 2022. During his nearly 15-year career with Navitus, Byron’s efforts helped grow the organization from 500,000 covered lives to 9.2 million lives before retiring in February 2022. In addition to his time at Navitus, Bryon also worked for two of the industry’s three largest PBMs, Medco Health and Express Scripts.

Following his retirement from Navitus, Byron has spent the past 2 years advising clients on a consulting basis where he’s been able to leverage his nearly 4 decades of experience helping clients meet and exceed their pharmacy objectives.

Byron has over 15 years of experience as a Board participant and graduated from the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Business Management.
